FAQs

Question

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and to keep our wedding as intimate, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation.

Question

Where can I stay in Cape May?

Answer

We know it is a lot to ask to travel to Cape May in the middle of winter, so we are covering accommodations for guests traveling from Texas and the West Coast. If you are unsure of where you are staying, please reach out to us.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 1st so we can provide a final count to our vendors.

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

The closest airport to Cape May is Philadelphia International Airport or Atlantic City. Atlantic City is closer, but it is a smaller airport and more expensive to fly into. If you are traveling from Austin, you may wish to coordinate with other guests from Texas for renting a car to Cape May.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough! If you feel inclined, we have a small amount of items on our Zola registry as well as a downpayment fund as we look to purchase our first home.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, but please feel encouraged to have fun with it. If you want to be on theme, think Valentine's colors - pink, red and black (but there's no obligation to do that). Please keep the weather in mind when packing!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30 pm. Please plan on arriving 15-30 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There is a welcome dinner at The Lobster House on Friday, February 6th at 6:00 p.m. that all are invited to (but not obligatory). On Saturday, after the ceremony, we’ll have a cocktail hour with light refreshments before dinner is served. After dinner, we’ll have a reception until about 11 pm. We have the venue overnight, so guests are welcome to celebrate until they’re tuckered out (but they'll have to serve their own drinks after 11).

Question

Who is catering?

Answer

Party Girl Bake Club! You should have received a google form to make your menu selections. If you have not, please reach out to us. Menu selections need to be made by 1/26.
