2025 has already been one to remember. Frank & I lost our entire home to the Palisades Fire on Tuesday, January 7th. Since then we've been absolutely overwhelmed with love and support from our friends and family from Los Angeles to New York. While we have a long road ahead of us, with the help of your donations we are able to find a new home and continue hosting our dream wedding in Mexico. It will be a day that will not only celebrate our love, but the love that surrounds us from each and every one of you. November 2025 will be our ten(!) year anniversary of being together. It's wild to think of all we've been through so far and the journey that started the day we first met... We were first introduced to each other by my friend, Ben, who moved out to LA from Nebraska with me. Ben and Frank were co-workers at LA Fitness, and quickly became friends. One weekend, Ben organized a beach day in Malibu. As soon as I saw Frank I was smitten... surely a mix of his "laid back" optimistic personality and the champagne in my system LOL. While I don't recall an actual "first date", things flowed quite seamlessly from the start. My mom still remembers me telling her that summer that I had met a boy, and "I think he's the one". Besides the fact that Frank didn't want to label our relationship (it's a commitment thing), we would do everything together. Workouts at the gym, grocery shopping, and long drives to the west side for a beach day. Frank became my best friend (with benefits haha). Life just seemed lighter and happier with him around. In November 2015, just six months of knowing each other, things escalated quickly when Frank had to temporarily move in with me and my new roommate (Alex) at our apartment in Santa Monica. Fast forward to August 2023, eight years later; I was getting home from work on a Tuesday night and opened the door to Frank down on one knee with a ring in his hand. I hadn't even shut the door before I heard him say "Toni Michelle Longoria, after all this time..." The moment itself caught me completely off guard as I was expecting it to happen on our trip to Colorado. But eight years was long enough, it was an obvious "yes" from me! Just over 2 years later on yet another Tuesday night this November, we'll be saying "I do". Mexico has been our favorite vacation destination for five years now, and it seemed only fitting to start our next chapter right where we met, at the beach. While we understand Puerto Vallarta is a bit of a trek, we truly hope you are able to join us. From the start of our wedding planning our intention was to offer an "excuse" for all of our loved ones to take a vacation, a much deserved break from life, and be together. Since the recent fire disasters here in Los Angeles, we are aware that there is much work to do. But something about closing out the hardest year of our lives celebrating love and dancing hand in hand with the people who matter most to us, makes it all worth it. Whether or not you're able to join us this November in person, we are forever grateful for your part in our journey. No matter where we are, "home is wherever I'm with you."
