Care Instructions: - Allow pan to cool before washing.- Hand-wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent, and always dry well to prevent the formation of water spots.- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.- To remove stubborn food residue, fill cookware with small amounts of water and place over low heat until food is softened and easily removed.- Copper will naturally tarnish when exposed to water, heat and air, turning pink, orange, orange, gold, blue and/or silver. This is normal and not a product defect. Many copper lovers cherish the dark brown patina that develops on copper with repeated use, but if a shiny polished surface is preferred, copper’s shine can be restored with traditional home remedies (salt plus an acid such as table vinegar, lemon juice or ketchup) or with a quality copper cleaner. Always rinse off and dry well to prevent the formation of water spots.- Silver plated knob will naturally darken with time, gently rub with a silver polishing cloth (not cream) to restore knob’s shine without removing its signature chiaro-scuro effect.
