Franca is a small Brooklyn-based, female-founded, ceramics studio that modernizes tradition by creating unique pieces that feature hand-painted designs and eye-catching silhouettes. Artists Sierra Yip-Bannicq and Jazmin De La Guardia bring their ethnic diversity and eye for design to each hand crafted piece. Franca was born from the idea of "lingua franca" or common language. This sense of community is what inspires our work and what we try to convey in each delicately crafted piece.
