Wedding Party

Carllee Brown

Maid of Honor

Sista Sista! I could not think of anyone better to be my maid of honor on my big day. I mean, I've known her my whole life. My sister has always been my rock and my shoulder to cry on. She has always been my best friend, besides the time she hit me with a car, but that's a story for another day. We have always said that we would be each other's maid of honor at our weddings, but leading up to me asking my wedding party I told her it was everyone but her. She was so annoyed with me but she knew it would always be her. I'll always be my sister's number one fan.

Maegan Edwards

Bridesmaid

I hate the term step sibling because I see Maegan as so much more than that. When my dad and stepmom married it seemed that three new siblings were not the most ideal situation, and while we have had our ups and downs, I would not have it any other way. Maegan was a great older sister, and as I got older we steadily became closer. Maegan is my fun, spunky, and crazy older sister, but I wouldn't have her any other way. I love her like she is flesh and blood, and I could not see my life without her in it.

Sarah McLaughlin

Bridesmaid

Though Sarah is not much younger than I am I feel like I have gained the little sister I have always wanted. (Brothers are okay, I guess) Sarah is so funny and sweet in every single way. I love plotting against Jake with her. Jake got a set of cupcakes for his 22nd Birthday, and he was ADAMANT that no one eat any more of the white cake ones; so, I definitely snuck two white cake cupcakes for both of us and he never found out! It was a proud moment for both of us because if you know Jake, you know that it is hard to get anything past him. She has always welcomed me with open arms and I could not ask for a better Sis-in-law.

Aubree Brewster

Bridesmaid

Aubree acts like she hates me but I know for a fact she loves me. She is the best little cousin a girl could ask for. I have had the joy of watching her grow and prosper in so many ways. She is caring, smart, and one of the funniest human beings I know. She has supported me in everything I have done and I know she will continue to do the same. I absolutely could not do life without this girl, but I could do without that sass she always has.

Rachel Simonton

Bridesmaid

Wow, Rachel, what a WOMAN! Rachel and I bonded over our love for sloths and eventually got closer because she is also good friends with Jake. She is one of the most genuine people I know and I can always go to her for advice. Her advice is the best because she can give you so many different viewpoints. Rachel is so sweet, funny, and beautiful. She can either hype you up and say "go go go" or she can tell you to slow down. I know Jake and I will always be able to count on Rachel and I will forever be grateful for her.

Celeste Canada

Bridesmaid

I met Celeste during freshmen orientation at Lambuth. We were basically forced to come together afterward when a girl we both met put us in a group chat. We didn't really talk much in that chat, but all of us talked about going to frosh camp with the school. Celeste and I hit it off the second time and had a whole crying moment at one of the events called warm and fuzzies. She has been one of my best friends since and I could not see my life without her. She is so funny and the best person to cry with (fun fact she can make herself cry at will) and will always be my personal hype man.

Kyleigh Hardy

Bridesmaid

Fun Fact about our friendship: she ignored me for the first two weeks I knew her! I meet Kyleigh in Spanish during my freshman year of high school. I could not get this girl to talk to me. I knew she was incredibly shy, but good grief! When KB finally opened up to me and we started talking, we instantly clicked and she has been my best friend since. We've been to California, Gatlinburg, Chattanooga, and Nashville together and have so many countless memories. I love this girl with my whole heart and I wouldn't have her anywhere else but beside me on my wedding day.

Kyle Mangrum

Best Man

Oh geez, where do I begin? I met Kyle when he moved to Dyersburg in the fourth grade, and he's been my best friend ever since. If I wasn't at home, 90% of the time you could find me at Kyle's most likely doing something Star Wars related! We grew up doing everything together, whether that be singing in choir, doing everything together in youth, writing articles in Journalism, or just riding around town. If I needed help with anything, he was the one that I went to, especially if I needed a hype man! He has been with me in almost every major milestone in my life, and I can't wait for him to be a part of this journey as well. I wouldn't have any other guy stand by me as my best man!

Stan Medlin

Groomsman

When it comes to longtime friends, behind Kyle, Stan has been my guy for forever. We had always seen each other at church, but we never really talked much. The concreting factor was at a church retreat; when everyone was upstairs boxing, we were downstairs because we were both exhausted from the day! After that, we just became best buds. Kyle and I practically lived at Stan's house during Junior year, and every time Stan was home from college you could expect us to be at his house, sometimes for multiple days! Stan is one of the most level headed, mature, and all around awesome dudes I know, and even though I didn't go to Lee with him (sorry bro), I'm glad he can still be by my side on my big day!

Preston Smith

Groomsman

One day when I was a senior in high school, my mom called me and told me the someone she met at the salon was looking for an after-school sitter for her kid; I didn't have a job at the time, so I was all for it! So, I began to take care of this little kid, and that is how I met Preston Smith. I've always wanted a little brother, and that's exactly what Preston grew to be to me. With all of the extensive Nerf Wars, golf cart trips to Sonic, Firestone, and Pool parties, he's definitely kept my life interesting. I've been able to see the little irritating kid grow up to be an intelligent and caring young man, and I could never go through with this wedding without my Lil bro with me at the altar.

Ayiden Brown

Groomsman

I met Ayiden when I met Zaylee's immediate family for the first time, which I actually think was on his 16th birthday. Let me tell you, I have never had someone give me more of a hard time than Ayiden did when I first came in the picture! Nonetheless, I could tell he was a cool dude. In the summer of '19, I hatched a plan to make Ayiden and two of his cousins come to Beach Camp, a church camp that my church I was interning under was going to. Ayiden did NOT want to go at all, but luckily he has a mother that loves him enough to force him! On this trip, I got to know the real Ayiden, and I discovered just how nice, loving, and God-fearing he is. I can't wait to be your brother-in-law man!

Chase Boehms

Groomsman

Chase and I lived in the same neighborhood for the majority of my life, but we didn't officially meet until my Junior year of high school. He started attending the same church as me, and I soon realized that the man wasn't just a great football player, but he knew his way around a guitar! He was living in Jackson when I started attending Lambuth, so I got to see him a lot then, and he eventually transferred to Lambuth! We were then suite-mates for two years. We've had many trips to McDonalds, endless jam sessions, many good (and sore) times in the gym, and way too many nights staying up late working on homework that we procrastinated on! I'm a better guy because of having Chase as a friend, and I'm glad he's going to be with me on my big day!

Noah Blackwood

Groomsman

Noah is one of Zaylee's millions of cousins. When I first met him, he was a relatively quiet and chill dude, but I couldn't get a good read on him just yet. He was one of the cousins that came with Ayiden to the church camp; it was here that I found out that Noah was very similar to me in a lot of ways. Later in the summer, Zaylee and I got to go see him and his family in Branson. Noah really got to know me one night when we went we tried to go to three different McDonald's late at night and every one was out of chicken nuggets! Needless to say, he saw a whole new side of me that night. After getting to know Noah, I've found that there's much more to him than just his overarching intelligence. I'm glad that I am able to have him with me on mine and Zaylee's special day!

Isaac Blackwood

Groomsman

Do you remember how I said Ayiden wasn't the nicest when I first met him? Well, the only one in the family who was actually really nice when I first met him was Isaac. He was a good, sweet little kid who was super friendly to me; then we became close and he realized that since I'm family now, he can be a brat! Isn't that hateful? Isaac was also on the trip to Beach Camp, and I got to see how much of a deep thinker and loving person he genuinely is, even when he pretends not to be. He hates to admit it, but the kid has turned into a mini-me; If I ever want someone to tag along with on a drive, or get coffee, or really anything, he's the guy. I love the little bro, and I can't wait to officially be his cousin!
