Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sarah Cook and Jared Riehl
The mountains here in Colorado are our happy place! We want our guests to be able to enjoy all that we love about what they have to offer. We do understand that we have decided on a “destination” venue. We invite all of our guests to make a longer stay out of the weekend! We will be celebrating our big day the entire week before the wedding. Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy the fresh mountain air! We even encourage it! Here’s a list of places to eat and drink, and relax!

St. Mary's Glacier

Idaho Springs, CO 80452

St. Mary's Glacier is one of our favorite hikes in Colorado to date. It's about 30-40 min outside of Keystone, in Idaho Springs. It's a nice, moderate hike that opens up to a beautiful lake. We've never hiked the glacier, but you can definitely do it! It's more than worth the hike out to see this place! Click the button below for directions and more information!

Lily Pad Lake

Silverthorne, CO 80498

This hike is only about 10-15 min away from Keystone! Super dog friendly! This hike is a little longer, but again...is totally worth it! It starts with a steep hill, but levels out and is fairly easy the rest of the way. Once we got to the first lake, we realized why this hike is so popular. It was COVERED in lily pads! There is a second larger lake if you take pups that would like to swim! Click the button below for directions and more information!

HighSide Brewing

720 Main Street, Frisco, CO 80443
, (970) 668-2337

Frisco is such a short drive for some awesome beer! This place has an awesome vibe, great snacks, and even better brews. It also helps that some of our favorite people work here! (see BM and MOH)

Outer Range Brewing Company

182 Lusher Court, Frisco, CO 80443
, (970) 455-8709

If you love a good IPA, this place is for you! Outer Range is doing some awesome things with beer, and their taproom is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon with some good people!

Breckenridge Distillery

1925 Airport Road, Breckenridge, CO 80424
, (970) 547-9759

You say you want to go somewhere and play lawn games while you drink delicious cocktails made with local spirits? The Breck Distillery is where you need to go! This place is definitely a must-visit! We recommend the Cuckoo Coconut & the Farmer's Market Bourbon Smash.

Angry James Brewery

421 Adams Avenue, Silverthorne, CO 80498
, (970) 455-8800

This place is one of our go-to's. The bartenders are super friendly, and the beer is always good! Their stout is a perfect start to a vacation in the mountains during fall!

Blue Moose Restaurant

540 South Main Street, Breckenridge, CO 80424
, (970) 453-4859

This place is awesome! One of our favorite spots for brunch in the mountains! It's a cash only place, so come prepared.

Sunshine Café

250 Summit Place, Silverthorne, CO 80498
, (970) 468-6663

Brunch, Brunch, Brunch. What can I say? We're breakfast people. This place is a definite first choice for breakfast in the area!

Greco's Pastaria

Greco's Pastaria

311 East Main Street, Frisco, CO 80443

Talk about amazing Italian! If you've got a craving for pasta, this place will fix that. On main street in Frisco, this place is definitely a gem!

Dillon Dam Brewery

Dillon Dam Brewery

100 Little Dam Street, Dillon, CO 80435

This place is great for beer and bar food! The beer they brew is pretty tasty, and they always have a wide variety for any kind of beer lover!
