Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Tasha Washington

Matron of Honor

Tasha and I are best described as sisters, rather than best friends. This relationship began during our first week of 6th grade and has flourished over the past 18 years.Tasha is always supportive of my endeavors, but her honesty and transparency are what I value most.

Roger De Souza

Best Man

I'm honored to have my brother as my best man. We shared many experienced growing up in Lehigh Acres, FL, much of it centering around sports and music. Our parents' love and commitment shaped us into the men we are today. And I'm glad I get to share this special day with my much cooler younger brother.

Mary Odom

Bridesmaid

Mary and I became close during our Sophomore year of high school. We formed a “twinship” shortly after our pre-AP Biology class. Mary has always been my cheerleader and provides immense support with every life change that comes my way. She and I connect most with crafting and fiber arts, although her skills far exceed mine.

Kirk Young

Groomsman

I'm honored to have my older cousin Kirk as a groomsman. Kirk works in the finance industry and recently moved with his wife Kerry-Ann from Kingston, Jamaica, to Toronto, Canada. One of the many things I love about Kirk is his deep commitment to family.

Khamari Young

Bridesmaid

Khamari and I met during the fall semester of our Freshman year at Temple University. We share a love of all things music and travel related. I commonly refer to Khamari as the fun-loving, “free-spirited”, educator (and now graduate student).

Franz Young

Groomsman

Keeping the family theme running, I'm honored to have my younger cousin Franz as a groomsman. Franz resides in Cape Coral, FL, and has a strong heart for friends and family.

Nairobi Cratic

Bridesmaid

Nairobi “Robes” and I also connected during freshman year at Temple University. We always kept in contact during our college years, but really became close after we both relocated to Washington, D.C. upon graduation. Nairobi is the most determined woman that I have the pleasure of knowing, always supportive and has been named “the socialite” due to her amazing networking abilities.

Bryan Francis

Groomsman

Bryan's dad and my dad grew up together in Jamaica and remain close friends. I'm fortunate that this friendship has extended to a second generation, as Bryan and I have formed a close friendship over the past few years. In addition to a career in management consulting, Bryan is a really talented photographer - you might find him onstage snapping amazing photos of artists like Ella Mai, or catching the action of the D.C. United soccer team.

TraeShawn François

Bridesmaid

Trae and I met through a common friend (Nairobi) the summer of 2014 or 2015? Initially she was referred to as Nairobi’s friend, but we became close over the years due to our love of brunch, Beyoncé, festivals and celebrity gossip. Trae is the best private investigator and will do anything for her friends.

Keith Yearwood

Groomsman

Keith and I met at a National Community Church (NCC) small group in Washington, DC. Born in Guyana, Keith moved to the U.S. to pursue a Ph.D. in geology, and is a lecturer at the University of Maryland. I can count on Keith for a great conversation - and his legendary roti. Keith's passion for justice and seeing God's Kingdom here on earth encourages my faith.

Diana Kiernan

Bridesmaid

Diana and I became close during our mission trip to Uganda in the Summer of 2017. She inspires me daily to try new things (aka running) and has vowed to make me a hiker. Diana and her adventure partner, Liam are often seen running marathons, hiking multiple 10,000ft summits in a weekend or traveling the globe. Diana always remains calm under pressure and will move mountains (no pun intended) for her family and friends. I refer to her as my big sister because of our many similarities and her wisdom.

Trent Franklin

Groomsman

Trent and I met at NCC, and have formed a close friendship over the past few years through our involvement in NCC's small groups and Connections ministry. Always the life of the party, Trent served in the Air Force and continues to travel the world as a photo journalist. He has a genuine heart for building community and making people feel welcome. And I'm honored to have him as a groomsman.
