The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. This can mean a cocktail dress, little black dress, blazer and slacks, or a suit! Please refrain from wearing jeans or sneakers.
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your invitation. If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and will ensure that folks will be around familiar and friendly company. We appreciate your understanding!
We love your little ones - however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children in our wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!
Parking around Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnnati is notoriously limited. We have opted to hire a valet service, which will park your car free of charge. Please factor valet wait time into your arrival time. We also highly encourage carpooling or ridesharing to Rhinegeist.
If you are late for the ceremony, that is totally fine! Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm, so we recommend arriving around 5pm so you have time to mingle, find a seat, and grab a program. At 5:30pm, the doors will be closed and you will be unable to attend the actual ceremony. This will be strictly enforced. You will still be allowed to attend the reception - we just want to minimize distractions. Luckily, our venue has an amazing assortment of beer and cocktails to sip on while you wait, so don't sweat it, hang out, and we'll see you at the cocktail hour! Abby and Joey have chosen to both keep their own last names. Abby will remain Abby Schatzman, and Joey will remain Joey David.
There will be an open bar complete with Rhinegeist beers, wine, liquor, and specialty cocktails. Please note that Rhinegeist will ask for ID from all attendees under the age of 40, so please be sure to bring valid ID with you to the wedding!
