    Things To Do

Things To Do

Here are a few of our favorite things to see and do. The list is WAY too long, so if you need any suggestions, we'll be happy to send some your way. We'll probably update more as we get closer to the date - it will be a great time of year to explore and be outside.
Phoenix Art Museum

Phoenix Art Museum

1625 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004
, (602) 257-1880

Phoenix Art Museum is one of our favorite places to visit. It's more than just art. It makes for a great date night, as it features a cafe, and Phoenix Theater is just next door if you wanted to make a day of it. (It was one of our first dates!)

Arcosanti

Arcosanti

Arcosanti, AZ 86333

If an experimental town with a futurist vision is of interest, check out Arcosanti. It's about an hour north of Phoenix but very cool to tour. They have a cafe, too, which the food has been amazing!

Page Springs Cellars

Page Springs Cellars

1500 North Page Springs Road, Cornville, AZ 86325
, (928) 639-3004

Wine tasting, food, a walk by the creek? It doesn't get much better than that. Page Springs is the jewel of the Verde Valley wine region.

Tempe Town Lake

Tempe Town Lake

Tempe, AZ 85281

The lake is a shining star for both of us. If you're inclined to get outside and not go far, there are boat and paddleboard rentals if you're so inclined. It's also a great place for an evening stroll with Mill Avenue and the Tempe Center for the Arts on the south side of the Lake with shops and restaurants.

The Mission Old Town

The Mission Old Town

3815 North Brown Avenue, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
, (480) 636-5005

If you love guac as much as we do, this place is amazing. It's in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale so it's walking distance to galleries, shopping, and a host of great places to eat and drink.

Rock Springs Café

Rock Springs Café

35900 Old Black Canyon Highway, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324
, (623) 374-5794

If you are making a vacation of the trip and heading north to Sedona, Jerome, or the Grand Canyon is on your agenda, make a stop by Rock Springs for pie. Get there early because by afternoon there won't be much (if any) to choose from. It's become a great little spot to get out and stretch your legs with shops, a stream, the cafe, and bar.

Valley Bar

Valley Bar

130 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004
, (602) 368-3121

This is where we met! As the date gets closer, we'll be checking to see what shows are on the calendar if you're up for some underground shenanigans, nibbles, and live music!

Desert Botanical Garden

Desert Botanical Garden

1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008
, (480) 941-1225

The desert should be in bloom around the time of the wedding and not too hot for our out of towners.
