Airports

Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP) is the largest airport and handles the most long-haul international flights. Milan Linate (LIN) is closest to the city center of Milan and serves mostly flights from within Europe. Bergamo (BGY) is located well outside Milan but is a busy hub for flights going to and from other points in Europe and the UK.

Nested in an enchanting private park with a swimming pool, the Sheraton has a Michelin-starred "Kitchen" restaurant, with bars inside and outside the hotel. This is an option that is a 10-15 minute walk from most of our events. We had lunch and drinks here and loved it! Parking is available.

Upscale hotel overlooking Piazza Cavour in the heart of Como. This is an affordable option if you are looking to explore the city of Como. You are on the main square facing the lake with everything around you. Parking is available for a fee.

Travel Note

Getting to Como

Transfer Service Many hotels, or independent ride transfer agencies, can arrange a transfer service for guests a fee. Check with your hotel at the time of booking. Rental Car If you wish to explore the area and drive to your hotel, all airports offer numerous rental car options. We recommend avoiding large SUVs because of the small roads in Como. Parking is available at hotels, but not at the wedding venues. Transportation for each event will only be provided from the hotels. Train For those guests feeling adventures and wanting to see the countryside, Como is serviced by two train stations and trains are available from Milan. Tickets can generally be purchased prior to boarding. The stations are: Como Lago & Como S. Giovanni If coming from MXP, take the Malpensa Express (departing from both terminals) to Milan and get off at Saronno (after about 20 minutes). At Saronno train station, take the train from Milano Cadorna to Como Lago station (40 minutes). If coming from LIN or BGY, take a shuttle service or taxi to Milan Central Station (30-minute ride). Then, from there, take the train to Como S. Giovanni or Como Lago station (40 minutes). If you plan on taking the train, please coordinate with your hotel to arrange transportation from the train station as taxis and Ubers are VERY limited.
