A fun mix between a Punjabi "Haldi", a Bengali "Gaye Holud", and of course, an Italian pool party. During this pre-wedding event, guests apply turmeric paste to the bride and groom's face and body. This is an informal and optional event that is meant to be free flowing for the guests. Please stop by to partake in this fun cultural tradition! Modest Semi-Formal Indian or American attire. Please ensure legs, midriff, and shoulders are covered. If you want to wear traditional Indian attire, opt for a salwar kameez, sharara suit, or kurta set. For American attire, try a modest maxi dress or a shirt and trousers.
Keep in mind attendees will be sitting on the floor as part of the religious ceremony. Lunch will be provided after the ceremony.
