We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

Two Perfect Events is excellent at fulfilling the vision that you bring to them (we had an art deco garden party theme for our wedding, with the ceremony in a greenhouse and the reception at a Peruvian restaurant). They’re also great at ensuring you consider all facets of a wedding to be prepared for anything. It attests to the quality of their work that Leo, Leah, and the Two Perfect Events team do before and during the big day that our wedding went off literally without a hitch (actually not literally, because we did get hitched!). The event flow went flawlessly all due to Two Perfect Events working behind the scenes to coordinate, schedule, and ensure every last detail and request was fulfilled, all while caring for us newlyweds and keeping us hydrated, which allowed us to stay in the present and enjoy our wedding while they worried about the small details. One example to highlight just how spectacular Two Perfect Events is at making your dream a reality — our wedding included the Jewish wedding tradition of breaking a glass to conclude the ceremony. We decided that we wanted to stomp the glass at the exact moment when the beat dropped and the music swelled in our recessional song choice (“6’s to 9’s” by Big Wild). We had one chance to get it right, because the first time we’d even practice with the DJ would be live on the big day. During the rehearsal, Leo tracked the practice ceremony with a stopwatch in order to inform the DJ and perfectly time the moment. We truly did not believe it would actually be possible, and yet — the moment that we smashed the glass and the music swelled simultaneously, while our friends and family cheered us on, is one of the highlights of our wedding day. The attention to detail that Leo showed with the stopwatch exemplifies the quality that Two Perfect Events delivers.

Amanda was our lead wedding planner and she and her A team went above and beyond to make sure our special wedding day was the most amazing we could have ever imagined! We found Cassandra on Zola and set up a meeting for partial planning services. It was a one and done conversation--we knew immediately that she was the right planner for us! Her clear communication, organization, and professionalism made her the obvious choice. We felt confident in relying on her expertise to bring our Fall-themed Tahoe wedding to life, and she did not disappoint. Cassandra is a true professional and expert at her craft -- For partial planning services, she provided a detailed month-by-month checklist complete with notes and recommendations to guide us in meeting our wedding deadlines. About six weeks before the wedding, she took over all aspects of the planning process. She is an experienced planner that has built out her own inventory of rentals (which was a big help so I didn't have to track those things down), and has a great knowledge base of reliable venues and vendors in the area to work with. A few of our vendors (my selections, not hers) were a challenge to wrangle, and I was relieved to be able to loop Cassandra into those conversations to get things back on track. She also brings a ton of creativity and first hand experience to the design process that I really valued. She built us a beautiful design board and iterated on it with us until we 100% loved it. She also did a great job of day of coordination and made sure we could be fully immersed in the day instead of sweating details. I'm still speechless when I think about our Wedding. It was one of the best days of our lives, and will be crystalized in my mind as a perfect day forever. We are immensely grateful to Cassandra for her outstanding work and thankful for the friendship we developed along the way. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Art in Motion!

Where to even begin! Taylor made our special day everything we wanted and more! From start to finish, Taylor and her team were professional and so respectful of our wishes. Taylor was easy to communicate with, and had regularly scheduled meetings with us to make sure we were on track for the perfect day! Taylor provided us with checklists and to do lists, and was so organized! Taylor catered to every single detail we wanted, while keeping our budget in mind. Being an out of town bride, Taylor accommodated our needs, FaceTimed us doing a venue tour, and always kept us updated on our vendors and contacts, and what the next steps would be. Day of, we woke up to rain pouring in Vegas, but that didn’t stop Taylor and her team for executing the perfect day…we insisted on getting married outside, we pushed our start date back to hopefully not get rained on. Thankfully, the rain stopped for 30 min just the right amount of time to get married. Taylor made sure guests had dry seats to sit on and cocktails in hand. Taylor made sure we were taken care of (food and drinks) during our pictures. Moving into the reception, Taylor made sure we were well fed, and always had a drink in hand, along with our head table. She guided us into our grand entrance, and all of our scheduled songs. Our big day was perfect and flawless in every single way. If there was any sort of issue or problem, we certainly didn’t know about it, because Taylor handled it all, and without us knowing or fretting about it. She brought a lot of calmness to us, on one of the biggest days of our lives. The best thing we did for our wedding was hire Taylor. She made us feel more than just a client or number. We walked away being friends! Cannot recommend TayCheney events enough!!

April was FANTASTIC!! I was unsure whether or not I wanted a coordinator- I had a hard time “giving up” control of my big day. When I first spoke with April- I knew that she was THE ONE! Kind, patient, understanding, and also a little bit of a perfectionist. ;) I hired April as “Day of Coordinator” only. April took everything I gave her on my wedding day and ran with it. She took my planning binder and I said “Good Luck!” She made it all happen! She quickly and effortlessly made my dream wedding perfect. She helped with decor, setting up, getting my dress on, helping me use the bathroom, putting my shoes on… anything you could think of!! And the professionalism and kindness was next level! A few days/weeks later, my bridesmaids told me about little fires that April put out that I had no idea about- problems with the DJ, the groomsmen trying to get drunk before walking down the aisle (April stopped them), and our Happily Ever After sign that kept falling. She handled all of this without me even knowing! The best decision I made (besides who to marry) on the day of my wedding was hiring April!! You won’t regret it!!

To our surprise Angie already knew the staff at the Venue and also knew the ins and outs of planning a wedding there. She helped us plan the wedding down to the very small details. Angie is very knowledgeable and has great vendor relationships in Santa Barbara and the central coast. She was able to provide many vendor recommendations that worked out great and she provided us with honest feedback to allow us to choose the best vendors for us. Angie was lovely to work with. We had a large wedding list and a 28 person wedding party. Angie and her team not only were able to keep everyone on time, but they also made sure everyone was enjoying the day. Our friends and family still talk about how amazing our wedding was. Angie really made us feel like we have known her forever and we felt as if a best friend was planning our wedding and looking out for us. Hire Angie! You won’t regret it.

If you read any review, read this one. For context, I'm a producer, my entire career is planning big scale events, productions, and hiring people. We went through 3 coordinators before finding Tara and it was because I had such a high standard for who I wanted to help me on my wedding day. Tara was, hands down, the best thing that could have happened to us for our wedding. We had multiple setbacks and last minute changes and none of them threw Tara off her step. She was honest with us 100% of the time about what was possible and what wasn't possible. And whenever either of us had concerns, Tara's response was always exactly what we needed to hear. She assured us that everything would work out and she would take care of it and she absolutely did. We did all of the decorations for our wedding ourselves and relied on Tara to set it up and execute our vision. Not only were we both FLOORED walking down the aisle seeing what she had done, it was actually better than we could have ever imagined. Additionally, after the wedding I found out that there was an issue with our credit card that almost prevented the vendor from delivering the items on time - Tara took care of it without telling us (the best thing a wedding coordinator can do) and I really appreciated how it was handled without needing to ask us. I can't say this enough, Tara was the best thing that ever happened to us for our wedding. Truly I don't think we paid her enough. We are so incredibly grateful for what she's done for us and if we were to ever have a huge event in need of planning, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Stop looking for a coordinator, just hire her. If you see this same review on multiple sites, it is because I will never stop copying and pasting how amazing this woman and her business is. Wishing you all as great of a wedding as we had.

Meredith was a pleasure to work with. Upon hiring her as our wedding day of coordinator, she presented us with a comprehensive checklist to make sure that we were prepared for our wedding. While we worked the remaining things that we missed from the list, Meredith diligently worked on coordinating with the other vendors and putting together a timeline for our wedding. When we first saw Meredith at the wedding, she was in her element. She had the staff working to make sure the drinks were stocked, guests knew where to sign in, the dJ and the Photo Booth knew where to setup, the caterers knew where to be and more. She could not have been more professional. Upon the completion of our photos, we realized that we were going to have to move the timeline up. Meredith told us that would be no problem and immediately began making sure all necessary parties knew the update and got where they needed to go. As the night came to an end, it was such a weight off of our shoulders knowing that we didn't have anything to worry about. Meshawn and the team at Perfection Unlimited were our Coordination team for our October 2023 wedding. We could not have asked for a better team to coordinate our unique wedding ceremony that was a surprise to our guests. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. Thanks to PU for what they promised, perfection.

I literally could not have gotten through my wedding without Kaci. She is absolutely fantastic. She is super organized, always cool as a cucumber, very experienced with all the moving pieces of event planning (which I absolutely was not), and just a truly wonderful human who my husband and I were delighted to have with us on our special day. It's so rare to find someone willing to do day-of wedding planning (instead of month-of or full service planning, which quickly becomes extremely costly and was more service than I wanted). I have heard it is difficult for coordinators to come in "day of" to a brand new venue, so they prefer to only offer more involved packages and/or only at venues they work with regularly. But Kaci crushed it at my venue (Brazilian Room in Berkeley) even though it was her first time there. She was extremely reasonably priced and honestly for the service we got, we easily would have paid 3x as much. Think no more and HIRE HER!
