I recently had my wedding reception at the Marriott Bayview Hotel in Newport Beach and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. I must say that Nathalie, the Destination & Catering Sales Executive, and Alesia, the Event Manager, were instrumental in making our reception a truly unforgettable one. From the very first consultation, Nathalie and Alesia were extremely attentive to all our demands and needs. They listened carefully to what we wanted and worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the event was planned and executed to perfection. Even though we had a limited time window of just 2 days to organize the event, Nathalie and Alesia went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in order and ready on time. Throughout the event, Nathalie and Alesia were always available and ready to assist us with any last-minute requests or changes that we had. They were flexible and accommodating, making sure that every detail was taken care of. They truly went the extra mile to ensure that our special day was as memorable as it could be. Overall, I would highly recommend the Marriott Bayview Hotel in Newport Beach for anyone looking to host a wedding reception. We planned our wedding in less than 2 months! Churon Inn really stepped in and helped us out in ways we really needed. It was a blessing they had availability on our day, they worked with us, worked with our budget and helped us make the day exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing, the chef was so nice and welcoming. The wedding coordinator, which was included in our package, was also very nice, helped with a lot of the decorating and made sure everything was how I wanted on the day of. The bridal suite is gorgeous and spacious. The groom's and groomsmen's space is also very spacious. Considering the circumstance and short notice, overall it was a success. A few small hiccups but overall, I highly recommend this place. It was absolutely beautiful! All our guests loved the venue and we got some amazing pictures!! The only things I did not like was that the stairs had a highlighter yellow color on them, which I understand is for safety but it took away from the overall look. Also, our wedding was in November so it was a little cold, I felt heaters should be complimentary and included but we had to pay for each one and order them in advance, which was hard to decide but overall, really happy with everything and I would highly recommend!

The Cannonball Run, a car race from New York to Los Angeles turned feature film, was first run in 1971 with The Portofino Inn as the final destination.

Staff was excellent day of. Food was wonderful guests said. Venue was beautiful for photos and weather behaved in January so we got to watch the sunset. Everything was amazing w Portofino. Price was excellent for what we got and in SoCal on the water venue “boutique hotel.” My only critique is doing room blocks and anything to do with their computer system accounting takes a second and is a little out dated takes two days or so- but I like to get things done or get emails asap so that’s just me. Other than that wonderful place will be going back to stay at hotel! Amazing reception! Exactly what we were looking for! Rain is also exceptionally friendly, patient and communicative so ask for him !
