Tyler’s love of photography started in his mid-twenties while touring with the Billboard-charting indie-rock band, A Great Big Pile of Leaves. He began his professional photography career capturing behind-the-scenes images for national ad campaigns and found his strength in anticipating all of the emotional, hilarious, quirky and exciting candid moments. Tyler’s documentary photography style is inspired by photo journalism and his editing embodies the tones, contrast and color familiar to analog film. While he enjoys the technical and creative aspects of portraiture photography, capturing the spontaneity of life is what drives his work.

My name is Arsalan — "RC" for short. Over many years, I have honed an appreciation for the textures of every day life: shadows shifting with time, the subtle glimpse of emotion in someone's face, or a dapple of light on concrete. Trained as an architect, I approach photography through the same lens with which I view the built world – with a thoughtful eye for light, composition, and poetry. I love thrift stores, tropical plants, and horses. I live with a little tribe of wildmen- my husband, my two year old, and our cat who is probably part lion. I have a counseling degree and that has really formed me as a photographer. My film guy is my husband Zach, and we met in a library. He knows five different ways to brew coffee and can play six different instruments.

Born & Raised in Southern NJ, just outside of Philly, which is my favorite city in the world, next to Seattle. Taking in breathtaking pieces of nature, slowly becoming a beach bum, and being a Tea pig are my current hobbies. My grandmother first taught me to use a 35mm camera, and my passion and interest for photography have been unending. So combining this love with the love of others, seemed to be a perfect idea.
