Christie Heimbach Photography

5.0

Clarksboro, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,490

Hey there! I'm a PA/NJ based photographer with over 200 incredible weddings under my belt. I've always loved documenting stories (I was an actor and an English teacher before venturing into photography), and the challenge of ensuring your personal story gets told in an emotive and authentic way is exhilarating to me. My team and I take pride in our desire to show up on your day as your personal confidence curators, and believe that in order to get the best imagery, you need to feel relaxed, empowered, and in the moment. Everything we do within our structure is to get you to that space so you can walk away with photos you'll treasure forever.

Awarded Best of Zola
Christie is not only an expert photographer with an incredible eye but a thoughtful, organized, and communicative vendor who approached everything about our wedding in a comprehensive manner with the utmost professionalism. We met with several photographers ahead of our wedding and knew Christie was the right match for us as soon as we met. Her energy was infectious and we were so impressed by her experience. As we started working with her more closely, she demonstrated the perfect balance of guidance based on best practices and flexibility to accommodate our needs. She worked with us to create a schedule that captured what we were looking for and we appreciated how receptive she was to our ideas about the day and the look we were hoping to achieve. And she nailed it! We felt so taken care of leading up to and on the day of the wedding and she made us (and our family and wedding party) feel so comfortable taking all of our photos. The photos came out perfectly with the natural, candid look that we wanted. As a same-sex couple, we were a bit unsure of how best to pose, but Christie coached us through all of it in a way that felt so easy and casual. Aside from the incredible services Christie provides, she's just an all around wonderfully kind, supportive, and hilarious person. You (really) spend all day with your photographer, and Christie was super fun to be around, went above and beyond, and was the most down-to-earth, go-with-the-flow person, even during hot and humid Pennsylvania weather and a rain scare. We believe that a photographer can really impact your day in a positive way and if we could go back and do it all over, Christie would be the person we'd choose again without hesitation. We'd recommend Christie as someone who will not only bring your vision to life but also as a person you can trust who will make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible so you can focus on being present. We'll cherish not only the photos but the memories from that day forever — thank you for everything, Christie!

Nikki Robinson Photography

5.0

Voorhees, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

I'm Nikki! (Just Nikki - it's not short for anything!) There's nothing I love more than capturing memories. During my eight years as a professional photographer, I've photographed all kinds of people, places, and things, but I realized nothing gives me as much joy as illustrating the stories of people's lives through wedding photography. As much fun as it is spending time with the people I photograph, there's nothing quite like the serendipity of seeing those moments realized in photographs later. That's what I want to share with you, and I hope to provide happiness you can look back on and enjoy for years to come.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Nikki was such a pleasure! She shot our engagement session in Cape May and took the most stunning photos at a winery and on the beach. She made our wedding day incredibly easy and captured the most beautiful moments of our day. Everyone in the wedding party was super comfortable and loved working with her. She even gave us preview photos within 3 days!!

Kat Lucille Photography

5.0

Haddonfield, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,300

Hey there! I’m Kat, an emotive and conceptual photographer, melding candid, fine art, and photojournalist styles. One of the biggest joys I get out of photography is the magic of the moments themselves. To be able to present those moments to the clients, to treasure forever –especially if they didn’t even notice I caught it– brings a huge smile to my face. I pour my energy into making it the best experience I can for my clients. Sessions are about the experience, photos are just the icing on top! I strongly believe in the photos not looking forced, but the client doing what comes naturally to them. I want you to be yourself and have fun.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kat is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She's an absolute sweetheart and is very good at her job. She handles everything life throws at her with grace and ease. During my engagement session with her in Old City, Philly, most gardens she had chosen for us were closed so we improvised a few spots and everything still turned out great. Including the photos that I wanted to keep, she let us have most of the outtakes as well. Which included one of me accidentally running into a holly bush.

Brittany Harmening Photography

4.7

Bordentown, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,995

We are a husband and wife team, Ricklin and I, that work side by side to make their clients feel at ease during their big day. We approach each couple with the intention of capturing your wedding day with a mixture of posed and candid, in-the-moment style photography, so that you can vividly recall your special day each time you look at your photography.

Brittany is amazing, she captures exactly what you want, just tell her your vision and she will make it happen. She's also great at calming a bride in need down. The day of my wedding I was overwhelmed with everyone that wanted to be in pictures and she took the hit for me and told people we had run out of time for pictures. She captured every single pose I wanted and she navigated the last minute change of me not wanting every single person in a photo gracefully. Her husband Rick (her second photographer) is just as talented and he took some amazing pictures of the groom and groomsmen and we can't forget Rick is an amazing dancer and I kept asking him for an encore. To be clear they keep it very professional and they ask how much involvement you want them to have but speaking from experience it's great to have vendors enjoy themselves too because it does keep your reception fun and it helps keep people on the dance floor.

I am an openly queer and trans wedding photographer and educator in the Greater Philadelphia area. I take pride in challenging norms in the industry, falling into information rabbit holes of my latest hyper-fixation subject, and approaching things with a slight sense of humor. I firmly believe that there is a difference between accepting someone and AFFIRMING someone - I strive for affirmation of people for who they are and celebrating them how they deserve. We couldn’t have asked for a more experienced, organized, and fun photographer for our wedding. From the beginning, she was friendly and created a relaxing environment throughout all photo shoots, including the wedding. She was so well organized and helped us plan a great timeline for the day. She was always so quick to answer any questions I had and so accommodating. She blended in during the wedding and was able to take the perfect mix of formal and candid shots. Everyone enjoyed taking photos with her and we are so thrilled to portray our pictures in our home. We will definitely continue with Michelle for any photo needs in the future!

TomTom Photography

5.0

Williamstown, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style

Hi! I’m Tommy, the guy with the camera who “is” TOMTOM Photos! Years ago when I got married I was not a photographer or videographer. I didn’t have any of the knowledge I have now to help make decisions on what photographer to choose, why to choose them, or what was really important to me as far as photos and video went. I feel this is important because it helps you understand what motivates me. This is why I will only offer you full day coverage and not limit the time you have us there, always have two photographers at your day, and work for you and make sure that your wedding represents you as a unique couple and your unique love story.

My Husband and I were recommended to TomTom Photography and a few other photographers by a mutual friend who was in the "wedding industry". After speaking with them all, Tommy really stood out to us and made us feel so comfortable with the process. From the start he understood our vision, and the importance of photographing the story of our wedding. When looking through our photos, i felt like we were reliving every wonderful moment that happened that day. if you're looking for a great photographer to be part of your special day, you've found the one.

Hey! My name is Josh Brennan and I'm the founder of Toxic Waste Photo. I've been a photographer and artist for over 6 years now and love working with people! Photography can be a lot of fun! Toxic Waste Photo delivers every time. The photographer is very pleasant, positive, and easy to work with. It's a must for someone like me, who can feel insecure when photographed, which was a fear for my wedding day. Working with Toxic Waste made that fear a thing of the past and I'm so thrilled with how everything went. I also really enjoy how their photo style is stylized with a lot of personality - it made my photos feel more unique and exciting. Highly recommend for any special occasion!
