I’m a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I’ve documented hundreds of couples’ love stories over the past 11 years, traveling all over the United States and beyond, and it has been one of the biggest honors of my life. I received my degree in photojournalism in 2010 and chose to pursue documenting love instead of local and world news events, but my background in photojournalism greatly guides how I approach my duty as a wedding photographer. I always strive to capture the day how it happened: the love, the laughter and the tears. I want you to look back at your wedding images for decades to come with joy and pride.

I love what I do because I get to witness moments of joy and turn them into gorgeous photos that contain the feeling of the moment forever. My style is a little classic, a little editorial, a little photojournalistic, and everything about telling your one and only story. I’m a formally trained and creative photographer, originally from a little beach town on the south shore of Boston and love brought me to Oregon. I’m an easy going, small-town girl exploring this big, beautiful world, and sharing love stories along the way. I’ve always found happiness in the little things, but what I love the most are the people in my life. Whether they’re family, friends, clients or new faces, it’s all about connecting. So, being a photographer, I honestly feel blessed and honored to have a career that revolves around love, new beginnings, and happy memories.

I never meant to be a wedding photographer - but somehow, here I am. I started my career as a newspaper reporter, and left that to be a writer and photographer for a public university. Almost 10 years into my second career, I was laid off - so I turned some pretty sour lemons into Lemonade Photography. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner, a mom to two boys, a nature lover, a proud geek and quite possibly the biggest Harry Potter fan you'll ever meet (don't challenge me to a Potter trivia contest; you WILL lose). I love to laugh, and I love to make my clients laugh along with me.
