The HarMac Event Space resides in the historic Harper & McIntire building in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. ​Completed in 1922, the building was originally a warehouse and shipping facility for Harper & McIntire's industrial hardware. The company also procured their own line of hand-crafted tools, coined "HarMac" - thus, our shared name. In 2015, the property was purchased and restored to reflect its original industrial character and charm. Grace Lutheran Church was organized on February 2, 1888, with 18 charter members. It was notable for being the first “English” church, with services in English rather than Swedish, in the Augustana Synod. Connections to Augustana College were strong, and services were held at Augustana’s chapel in the early years of the church.

The former home of cook-your-own-steaks, Old Oaks Steak House, south of Milan, has been transformed into Old Oaks Winery. The rear of the property contains several acres of now-mature vineyards, which are producing the grapes for Old Oaks wine. Our vision has always been to bring a Napa feel back to the Midwest. Old Oaks Winery has a tasting room and event space for more than 200.

The Buchanan House Mansion built in 1883 is now placed on the rolling his of the Buchanan House Winery and Vineyard. In 2009, the mansion was scheduled to be demolished. The Weaver Family of Tipton, sad to see it go, purchased the mansion and later moved it 7 miles to its new location. Now the mansion is the perfect place to host a small event for up to 40 guests. The 19-acre vineyard and garden make a beautiful place to host an outdoor ceremony and reception. All of our wine is made in the basement of the mansion and tasting room. Iris Aisle is a Victorian greenhouse that sits amongst our cedar grove in Madison County, Iowa. We are located in the heart of the Millwork District. The Magnolia took 3 years to renovated and was completed in 2019. Off Shore Event Center has recently undergone an extensive renovation to bring you one of the most beautiful venues in the area for your special day. Not only do we offer this state-of-the-art facility, we also have a hotel onsite. This will allow your out-of-town guests to arrive in advance and settle in before your event. Guests who arrive early or want to stay an extra day will also be thrilled with the excellent food and service featured at our on-premise restaurant, Off Shore Bar and Grill. During the summer months, we also offer a state-of-the-art outdoor aquatics area which is included with each hotel stay. The Off Shore property features all the accommodations you and your guests will require for a perfect wedding day or an extended weekend experience. You will find a complete package of guest accommodations typically found only in large city convention centers – but tucked away in a relaxing, picturesque, small river town setting.

Our beautiful historical building is located in the Millwork Historical District in Dubuque, Ia. We are the oldest city in the State of Iowa. We offer two different ballrooms. Our smaller one, the Junior, holds up to 175 for a ceremony & 125 for a reception. Our Grand Ballroom holds up to 450 guests. We have shopping, bars, restaurants, an arcade, a courtyard with a megatron tv and a Comedy Bar. There are lots to do in and outside of our building in our district. In 1972, 70-year-old Ben Vanderhook tore down old barns in Mahaska County and surrounding counties to create our beautiful barn, located a stone’s throw south of Oskaloosa, Iowa. The 3½ acre property includes a 147×46×60 Quonset hut barn, open fields as well as mature shade trees. Debbie’s Celebration Barn is one of the most extraordinary and romantic settings for a Midwest wedding or special event. The event space in the barn is spacious with many options for originality to fit your occasion. Both east and west ends of The Barn feature large double French doors which add to the charm as well as aid in cross ventilation on warmer summer evenings.

The Camden Centre is conveniently located at 2701 1st Street East (at the corner of the beltway and route 67) in Milan, Illinois in the 90-acre, beautifully landscaped Camden Park. The Camden Centre can be used for a multitude of different events, including, but not limited to, receptions, banquets, business meetings, fundraisers, class reunions, etc.

At the Barn at Brophy Creek, we are a family run business on a fourth generation farm. Running along the edge of Brophy Creek, the farm was purchased in the 1950's by my grandfather who immigrated from Germany and worked the farm as a hired man when he was 18 years old. The next generation took over and my dad began farming the land. My husband and I moved into the farmhouse where we raised our 4 beautiful children. I’ve stayed on this acreage my entire life. It is my history. Eventually, my dad retired and the buildings began to deteriorate. I knew we had to save these historic buildings and share them with the community, so we got creative and dreamed up the wedding and event venue that Brophy Creek is today. Luckily, my husband is able to take the dreams and visions I have in my head and make them reality. In 2015 we began dreaming it up, tearing it apart, and rebuilding - we've put our lives into this space.

Our style could be described as architectural, dark toned, and historically elegant. Our venue comfortably holds up to 550 guests at banquet style setup with space for a head table, cake tables, buffets, bars, and dance floor. Additionally, our ballroom spaces are designed to be separated or used in combination, which allows us to serve intimate weddings of 50 -150 guests as well.
