The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. The restored Historic Melrose Knitting Mill is a three-story brick mill, nestled in downtown Raleigh. The venue boasts exposed bricks, rough cut beams and twenty-four arched windows, providing an abundance of natural light. The 1820s farmhouse at Rubicon Farm is a charming centerpiece for the open grassy countryside acreage that surrounds the house. Called the Black-Cole House, it was updated in 2005 as a getaway for an active family that loves the outdoors. Now empty-nesters, the couple who owns Rubicon rents this special property out as a venue for an array of special events. Our Niche Turn-key packages at Rubicon Farm are our wedding niche. Our team customizes our couple’s vision of their wedding day, and we do all the set-up and coordination and take down. We plan and execute everything but the reception food and your choice of music, and if you need help choosing those, we are happy to make vendor suggestions.

Pave' is downtown Wilmington's newest event space. We are conveniently located on the ground floor on Water Street (near Chandler's Warf)...just steps away from the River Walk and the Cape Fear River. We book it out from 9-4 or 5-10pm. We are going GREEN and not meaning just adding plants (but yes, more plants the better). No more wasting water washing linen/dishes. Our plates/flatware/cups are biodegradable (we do offer an eclectic mix of real wine/champagne glasses). No more 6 foot banquet tables. This venue is meant for social gatherings. Pave' is cocktail style so lounge if you like on the couch, hop up on a bar stool or stand and mix/mingle. We offer all the rentals. There is only one bathroom at Pave' so that keeps our numbers comfortably in the 25-35 range. This is the vision for Pave'. Initially, the 62-acre Het Landhuis Estate was part of a 1,000-acre farm owned by the Henderson family who operated a tanyard in the area, making saddles and other leather items. One day a future bride drove past Het Landhuis; she stopped in the main driveway and asked if she could get married there. That conversation changed the course of the estate, and Het Landhuis had its Grand Opening in 2010. Het Landhuis is not your ordinary location for a wedding; this becomes obvious once you visit the grounds and look at the eight different venues the estate offers.
