We are the Boswell family. Wolf Run Acres is concept that came about after hosting our daughters weddings and struggling to find the country setting they wanted. After hosting one on this site under a tent we rented, we decided this is a beautiful setting for a wedding venue. We wanted to give our guests a beautiful dream country wedding, but design it to be more industrial and modern and less rustic than comparable venues. Our hope is to give each couple, a unique, beautiful setting while ensuring they have the wedding of their dreams. We work with each couple from the time we meet them through their day, making sure we meet all their needs and coordinating with their vendors to ensure they have as stress free and enjoyable day as possible.

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.

All rooms are available for rental only or with the option of in-house catering and a variety of menu options to select. Our menu options include plated lunches and dinner, English teas, and party packages (light hors d’oeuvres and appetizers), as well as bar service. All event rentals include: tables, chairs, all table linens, centerpieces, glassware, drinks, set up and clean up, and friendly staff and volunteers. Welcome. Hidden Valley was originally a tree farm that we purchased in 2017. When many older couples choose this time in life to size down, we chose to size up this beautiful 38-acre property. The 8000 sq foot house was way too expansive for our needs so we almost immediately converted two gorgeous mother-in-law suites into Airbnb units. They were immediately very busy. The Barn of Hidden Valley was born over time as we watched our family, our Airbnb guests, and our church family enjoys the property. The barn was build in 1840 and the Victorian house in 1896, both have been restored to capture all the original charm and yet incorporate handicapped bathrooms, prep rooms, and bar. The farm is located 1/2 mile off the road down a paved lane lined with 118-year-old hedges. We only rent the property once per weekend so you have access the day before and after your wedding day, allowing you to fully enjoy your wedding day celebrating

The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. The WACO Aircraft Company was the largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the 1920's and 30's. We also designed and built the CG4A Glider used in WW II. We have 10 aircraft and memorabilia on display. Depending on the time of year, you could also schedule an open cockpit biplane ride!

Please contact us on our website or email us directly. We first used our barn for our daughter's wedding because she wanted to have her magical day in the barn and backyard she grew up in. During our wedding, guests kept telling us "what a great idea to use this for a wedding". We had our first Big Barn Venue wedding in 2018 and we continued to book more dates throughout the wedding season. Our barn does not have heating or air so we cannot accommodate much farther outside of the months of June - October. Our brides, grooms, family and friends that have visited the barn for a wedding have truly enjoyed the country scenery we offer and also the amount of space the wedding has to use for a reception and ceremony. Photographers love the fields and they enjoy using almost all of the 200 acres for beautiful photos and videos.

The Barnstone is a beautiful, rustic country setting for your wedding and reception. The Barnstone consists of a original 100 year old plus Barn, Summer House and authentic Carriage house that can all be used by your guests for the special event. Doug and his family have installed brand new flooring in the barn, new outdoor restrooms and a deck to provide you with that special location for your wedding and reception for up to 200 people.

The Shepard Place is a rustic wedding venue located in Casstown, OH. This historic venue was built in 1920 and was run by the Shepard family for 90 years. The place acted as both the family’s trade and residence, and throughout the years, they created a wonderful site rich in memories and traditions.

The Elisha Morgan Mansion is a Flemish Bond brick farm mansion, built in 1817, and stands as a treasured historic landmark in the City of Fairfield. It has been determined that the house, as it presently stands, was constructed in three stages. The original Federal-style front portion, facing Ross Road, was built for Elisha Morgan in 1817. The second Greek Revival-style extension was added in 1858 by David Hueston. There is also a one-story third addition with a shed roof.

In 2016, Cedar Grove’s owners, Kevin and Julie Claus, were sitting on the porch of Stillwater Lodge with some friends, gazing upon their 65-acre property. With 6 cabins and 2 lodges running smoothly, it was time to start planning for their next adventure. They talked about their 3 children growing up on the property, and reminisced on how so many milestones were celebrated. With all their kids growing up, they talked about them finding love and how wonderful it would be to see them married on the property where they shared so many memories. That was the day the dream began! Kevin quickly grabbed a napkin and feverishly started scribbling sketches of a large lodge that could hold all of their friends and family, celebrating the futures of their children. In true Claus fashion, they did not let this vision pass them by, and got to working on the lodge right away.
