Waldenwoods is a destination wedding venue like no other in Southeast Michigan. Nestled in the middle of a beautiful wooded setting and alongside a crystal clear spring-fed lake, Waldenwoods boasts two unique ceremony and reception sites. The Cromaine Hall and Lakeview Tented Venue are both their own unique and elegant location to experience. Welcome to Alber Orchard & Freedom Winery. Only 30 minutes west of Ann Arbor or an hour from Detroit, our beautiful orchard provides a perfect country get-away in the rolling hills of Manchester, Michigan. This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill.
