How far is the venue from Chicago?

Answer

The venue is about 2 hours away from Chicago. Please remember that Michigan is an hour ahead from Chicago. Allow enough time for travel.

What time will the ceremony and reception start?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3pm (ET) sharp. followed by cocktail hour and dinner.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are blessed to have everything we need. A card box and a honeymoon fund will be available at the reception if anyone would like to contribute to that.

When are RSVP’s due?

Answer

RSVP’s are due on 24 June. This will help me get a final guest count so that I could let the catering company know how many people we are expecting.

Where do we park?

Answer

The venue has a private parking lot. There will be plenty of space to park.

What hotels are nearby?

Answer

Please look at our travel icon on this page for hotel information or contact me by phone. I suggest booking before July as the rooms will be released and open to the public after that. Note*** There are 2 hotels to pick from.

What should we bring if we are staying for the weekend?

Answer

Below is a list of items I suggest bringing: - Beach umbrella or tent - Cooler -Beach Towels - Beach toys such as a football, volleyball, volleyball net. - Sunscreen - Snacks

Will there be open bar?

Answer

Yes, open bar will be available. We will have different type of beers on tap and several different liquors for mixed drinks.
