Our mutual friend, Justin Drabek, invited us out to dinner with him and his wife, Erin Drabek. Neither of us had met each other before, but Justin Drabek thought the two of us would hit it off! Both of us were extremely nervous! It was love at first sight once we learned we were both not only KU Jayhawks but also UNT graduates (just at different times). Our paths aligned and so did the stars 🤩 … we had finally caught up to each other! ✨

We went ice skating at the Galleria for a Christmas date together and when he “fell” he pulled a little black box from his pocket and I said YES! Everyone on and around the rink celebrated with us!
