How we met...

We initially met on a dating app, Bumble, but officially met at the Husker/Wisconsin football game in the Railyard in Lincoln, NE. The evening and first meeting went well and so we decided to do a first date in Omaha. Cole was in charge of finding a dinner location and I was in charge of locating a place for drinks following the dinner. Cole picked me up for the date and drove us to his restaurant of choice, Spezia. Well, Cole did not make a reservation and the wait at Spezia was 1.5-2 hours. Cole nervously looked at me and asked, "Want to try my second option?". We arrived at a bar and grill across from Aksarben on a Husker game night, and it was completely packed. The waitress told us that there may not even be a table available the rest of the night. Blushing, Cole turns to me and says "well, I'm all out of ideas." I had chosen Spirit World as our option for drinks after dinner so I suggested Dudley's pizza across the street. This restaurant worked out well and the night went more smooth. After dinner we ended up having a few drinks at Spirit World and decided it was a great first date! We continued seeing each other after that and here we are almost two years and a ring later... :)
