All the moments that come with a lifelong best friend are what’s important. Like riding our bikes around the neighborhood, “spying” on each other’s crushes for one another, getting each other ready for homecoming or prom, being there for one another during the really rough times, and celebrating the big moments with each other. That’s what sticks out to me! Unpopular Opinion: Kendall is the best character in Succession. Fun Fact: I’ve had a beer with Whit Merrifield. Conversation Topics Could Include: Soccer, K-State, and not your animal's illnesses. Favorite Memory With the Groom: Hard to pick just one memory with Austin. So many great tailgates, fishing days (ask Austin how he once caught my professor’s dog…), and trips to the ‘Ville just to unwind. No one memory stands out, just countless priceless memories that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Unpopular Opinion: It is better to be hot than cold. I’ll take a 100 degree day over a 0 degree day every time. Fun Fact: In my younger days, I was known for dressing llamas up in costumes and walking them in parades. Favorite Memory With the Groom: I have known Austin for forever. Countless memories in high school, college and beyond. Narrowing it down to one favorite memory is impossible. So many hours spent playing video games, studying dirt, watching Adult Swim, talking sports, trying to figure out life in general, the list goes on. I’ll most certainly never forget sitting in lawn chairs, eating chili and drinking beer in a parking lot at 9am on a Sunday. He’s the best. Unpopular Opinion: Where do I start? Eliminate stop signs. Fun Fact: An escalator can never break, it can only become stairs. Drink of Choice: Diet Dr Pepper (wet).

Conversation Topics Could Include: Abby's dress!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻, the weather (because as much as I don't wanna admit it, I'm a true Kansan), dogs (bonus points if you talk about corgis and maybe the Queen.) Favorite Memory With the Bride: One thing that has always bonded us together is our love for the Jonas Brothers. I always smile when I think about how Abby's mom picked us up from school early in 7th grade to go watch the Jonas Brothers perform at a low key kind of secret/surprise event for free! We got there early and got good spots! The Jonas Brothers played 5 songs and I remember we sang our hearts out along with the JoBros and fangirled so hard! Then her mom took us to a Jonas Brothers autograph event at Circuit City and we waited in line and MET the Jonas Brothers in person! We both were so starstruck! One of the best days ever for us for sure! Fast forward to 10 years later and we got to hang out at the Jonas Brothers concert when they came in 2019! Our love for the Jonas Brothers is still just as strong! I am thankful for all of our great memories and I am so thankful to share this wonderful new memory of Abby getting married now too! I'm ready to toast to the bride and groom before we dance night away! Unpopular Opinion: Avocados are gross. Fun Fact: The actors who voiced Mickey and Minnie mouse got married in real life. Russi Taylor (Minnie) and Wayne Allwine (Mickey) got married in 1991. Drink of Choice: Malibu Rum and Pepsi or Moscato.
