Question

What is the easiest way to park at the church and reception?

Answer

The Church has a parking lot and parking garage on the south side of the church. Once you park, you will enter through the side door and will be directed to the sanctuary. The parking garage at the Room on Main is located at 2000 Elm Street, Dallas 75201 with entrance off Main Street. Make sure to go through the gate and get a parking ticket. Your parking ticket will be validated as you enter The Room on Main.

Is your wedding still moving forward as planned with the uptick in Covid cases?

Answer

At this time, our wedding is going forward as planned. Please feel free to wear a mask at any of our events. Our wedding and reception venues are both indoors but have plenty of space to spread out as both our venues will be under 50% of the capacity. You can read more about our reception venue's COVID protocols below. If you are no longer able or feel uncomfortable traveling or attending, we understand. Please let us know as soon as possible—no later than September 8th —so we can update our relevant vendors. We will update you with any other details via this website and are looking forward to celebrating together.

What kind of protocols are in place at your reception venue?

Answer

The following are the Room on Main's policies and protocols. Policies have gone above and beyond the MINIMUM STANDARD HEALTH PROTOCOLS as established by The State of Texas. • Hand sanitizing stations have been set up in various locations around the facility • We placed readily visible signage to remind everyone of best hygiene practices • Dining tables will be 6 feet apart from each other • We will not leave condiments, silverware, glassware, or other traditional tabletop items on an unoccupied table • We will provide condiments only upon request, and in single use (non-reusable) portions • Our employees will serve the food to attendees from behind a food station riser • We have trained all employees on appropriate cleaning and disinfections, hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette

Answer

• Employees are screened before coming into the venue and will be sent home if they have any new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19. • Employees will be wearing disposable gloves and disposable masks and changing them often throughout the event • Employees will be required to wear face coverings (over the nose and mouth) throughout the entire event • Our staff will regularly and frequently clean and disinfect any regularly touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, tables, and chairs. • Regularly and frequently clean restrooms • Clean and disinfect the area used for dining (table, etc.) after each group of attendees 
depart, including the disinfecting of tables, chairs, stalls, and countertops. • Clean and sanitize the venue daily.
