Our story began on a conveniently located back patio in Shadyside back in 2017. Evan's apartment was within earshot of the staple outdoor concert series known as Jam on Walnut. Evan was hosting a party out back that evening, and unbeknownst to him, Lillian was maneuvering to make sure that she and her friends would attend. Multiple chance encounters in the weeks leading up to this had Lillian believing this might be bashert (‘meant to be’). Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth throughout the evening; when Lillian's friends made plans to leave, she ensured that the rest of her evening would be spent tailing Evan. The long night of party-hopping sealed their fate and was the catalyst for a summer of picnics, camping trips, music festivals, bike rides, and more. Over three years worth of memories later and we’ve guided each other through life's changes, traveled throughout the country, and purchased and renovated our idyllic little Bloomfield "villa". In February 2021, Evan took Lillian back to that patio in Shadyside and asked if she'd marry him, to which Lillian said yes. We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin and are so thankful for the continued love and support of all of the friends and family that have been a part of our story!
