Question

Answer

RSVP’s need to be submitted through the website by 11:59pm on Friday, June 30th. If you’re having trouble submitting your RSVP through the website or have questions, please let Arjun or Lea Ann know!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re registered through Zola, Crate & Barrel, and Amazon. You can order items from any of these registries (or mix-and-match) by going to the Registry page of our website. We’ve selected a wide variety of lovely gifts for our registry, but we do also love surprises!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see everyone in “comfortable cocktail” attire. We want all our guests to feel confident at our wedding, whether that be in a suit, cocktail dress, jumpsuit, sari or lehenga. Think a patterned button down, dress slacks, and Jordan’s. Think modern-day Bridgerton garden party (minus the corsets maybe, because our caterers are amazing). Think your favorite late-summer kurta. Now here are the dress code don’ts: -Don’t wear white -Don’t stress

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Use the RSVP page to get for more information regarding who is included on you invitation!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Sure are! There will be kid-friendly food and beverage options, areas to explore around the gardens, and a quiet room to relax in!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes — check out the Travel page for top hotels and Airbnb’s close to the venue!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is free street parking around the whole block of the venue. Please do not park anywhere that would block resident driveways or fire hydrants. If you’d rather not parallel park, there are a few 24/7/365 parking garage options, the closest being a 7-minute walk from the venue. Fees may be required.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather permitting: the ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn. While dinner and dancing will be held in the ballroom and dining rooms of the mansions’s first floor. Guests can also mingle outside under a lighted tent and kids can explore the garden. The venue and grounds are fully gated and will only be opened for those working or attending the wedding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open wine & beer bar, plus his & her cocktails. Please respect the venue’s “no shots” policy. The bar will close at 9:30pm without a last call.

Question

What activities are there to do in the area?

Answer

If you’re traveling from out of town and will be arriving early or staying for some time after the wedding, there is plenty to do in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs! Check out the Things to Do page to find fun activities.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

We will have a dedicated spot for guests to leave both gifts and cards if they so desire, but the registry also allows the option for gifts to be sent to us directly either at the time they’re ordered or just in time for the wedding. Check out the Registry page for more information!

Question

When will the party end?

Answer

While we wish this night could last forever, we wouldn’t want to interfere with a good night’s sleep. The party ends at 10pm CST.
