Thanks to Hilda, Juanita and Jaslene have become very close over the past 4 years. Even though they act like they don't like each other, you can catch them on FaceTime almost every day. Jaslene has become Juanita's favorite sister ;)

Jacky and Hilda met in early elementary school but became close friends during middle school. The two created many memories together in their high school band and even attended college together for a short time. No matter how busy life gets, they are there for each other. Jacky truly is Hilda's bestie for the restie.

Loraina and Juanita met freshman year of high school in geometry class. Their friendship remained strong throughout the years regardless of how long they went without hearing from each other. They are the definition of a low maintenance friendship. From teenagers to adults, the two have continuously supported each other through life's milestones.
Dayana Ornelas

Dayana, Hilda's sister, is 1 year 1 month and 1 day younger than Hilda. You would assume having a sister that close in age would mean they are automatic best friends. Wrong! They weren't close until Hilda graduated high school. After that they were inseparable. Dayana was even there the night Hilda met Juanita for the first time.
Nancy Rivas Melendez

Nancy and Juanita met freshman year of high school. Nancy was the friend Juanita didn't know she needed. Nancy always made sure to keep her in line throughout high school and college. Even when Nancy lives 1,000+ miles away, they maintain their friendship through occasional texts until the next time Nancy flies back home.
Samantha Ornelas

Sam is Hilda's baby sister. She isn't that annoying little sister though. Hilda finds it easy to talk to Sam, and Sam always knows what to say back. You can always catch Hilda laughing at Sam's jokes, so much that Hilda has told her she should go into comedy. Even though Sam likes to pretend that she hates everyone in the world, Hilda knows she is one of her favorite people.
Jennifer Araujo

Jen and Juanita met in 2017 through their sorority, Sigma Delta Lambda. When Juanita transferred to Texas Woman's University and moved to Denton, they became roommates. They encouraged each other through late nights of studying as well as late nights out partying. They both graduated in May of 2021 and have remained close ever since.

Jen is Hilda's honorary 5th sister. Hilda met Jen through her sister, Dayana. At the beginning of their friendship, Hilda and Jen spent many nights out clubbing. Now, the two have settled down and have grown closer as they take on adulthood. Jen is a reliable friend that Hilda knows she can count on for anything life throws her way.

Jackie and Juanita met their freshman year of college at the University of Texas at Arlington through the Terry Scholars program. Their dorm rooms were across the hall from each other and their friendship grew quickly. Although Juanita transferred schools, they continued to be close friends. Even when life gets in the way, Jackie and Juanita take time to catch up over dinner and drinks.

Mariah and Hilda met sophomore year of high school. After Hilda graduated, the two lost touch but they rekindled their friendship when Mariah started getting her nails done by Hilda. These nail sessions led to Mariah becoming more like family. Hilda was there for Mariah's special day as she said "I do" to her husband. Now Mariah gets to stand by Hilda for her special day.
Emilio Reyes

Emilio is Juanita's baby brother, the youngest of the pack. Even though they are nearly 18 years apart in age, they could not be any closer. Emilio has Juanita wrapped around his little finger. Their favorite thing to do is go to the library and afterwards grab lunch at Chick Fil A. They've also enjoyed ice cream dates since the moment Emilio could have ice cream.

Lorenzo, better known as Papa, is Juanita's little brother. Hilda doesn't have any brothers of her own and Papa has made her realize she doesn't want any! Kidding! All jokes aside, from cheering Papa on at his baseball games to listening to him talk about the randomest things Papa has become the little brother Hilda never thought she'd have.
