Kelli was bar tending at the new Brewery in town, when she had a group of obnoxious guys come in. They left and later that evening, they came back with an extra guy. The guys continued to to catch grief from Kelli. By closing time, Adam had refused all offers for a ride back home from ALL of his friends. Which left who to take him the 17 miles to Steele City? This happened four nights in a row, driving in the snow and ice. After then, we were hooked. We can't remember a time we ever imagined that first night being any different.

We designed the ring together around Christmas time, along with Margo and Greg there. We were both very excited, although we hadn't been together for a year yet. We knew we would be together, after all no one thought Adam would find someone to get his act together. After a year and a half and multiple melt downs asking why he didn't want to get married because EVERYONE knew he had a ring somewhere. We went to the Kansas City Royals vs Boston Red Sox game with some of our best friends. While tailgating in the parking lot; just minutes before going in to the game Adam asked Kelli "You know how much I love you, right?" and pulled the ring box out of his waist band. Kelli started cry and asked if he was serious?! Kansas City lost, but in the end the we were the real winners that day!!
