One of our favorite hikes close to Flat Rock. This hike is a down and back with great views of three cascading waterfalls. Pack a picnic and bring a swimsuit!

Triple Falls Trail

Another classic hike, bring lunch and enjoy the views at the peak!

Glassy Mountain

Floating down the Green River is a great way to cool off and enjoy the great outdoors! Tubing trips can be either 2 hours or 4 hours depending on what you want! This is 25 minutes from Highland Lake Inn

20 minutes away from Highland Lake Inn, enjoy a refreshing cider at Bold Rock Cidery!

Only 10 minutes from the Highland Lake Inn, the Marked Tree Vineyard is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the magnificent North Carolina Mountains!
