We worked with Rachel for about a year in planning our wedding, and not only did she make the planning process fun and easy, but from beginning to end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Everything came together flawlessly; our entire wedding day was so seamless! Upon walking into our venue, the vision we had worked on for a year had just come to life! With Rachel's guidance, she helped us pick all of our vendors, and they exceeded ALL our expectations! Rachel is SO sweet and was such a calm and steady presence throughout our wedding day! She makes the process of planning a wedding enjoyable and relaxed and has some of the fastest email response times! Rachel is always all ears when wanting or needing anything throughout the planning process! Honestly 10 out of 5 stars is what I would give this company. Misha was my day of coordinator and she was attentive, caring, proactive, and really loves weddings l. She listened intently on how my partner and I met and looked through my wedding PowerPoint and responded to all my texts. There was a hiccup the morning of my wedding but gthr went above and beyond where the founder of the company actually came to help to make sure everything was seamless. I wasn't expecting that at all so seeing her there assisting made me feel at ease. If they weren't there I think I would've been a hot mess. Worth every penny.

Outside of deciding to marry my wife, choosing Dear September Events (DSE) for our special day was one of the best decisions we have ever made! We worked directly with DeAnne and Sarah, who were so kind and patient. Despite our lack of specific direction, they took charge and delivered beyond our expectations. DeAnne understood our vision, even when we ourselves were not entirely sure what that vision was. She did not even bat an eye when we u-turned and decided an international destination wedding was the dream. We leaned on DeAnne heavily throughout the planning process, and she seamlessly brought everything together. Even with vendors in another country, nothing slipped by her! DeAnne was organized, understanding, and knowledgeable. She was always responsive and addressed any concerns we had, making the entire experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. She supported and advocated for us, even after the celebrations were over when some details needed to be resolved with a vendor. Raquel and her team are fantastic. We hired Raquel for partial planning for our wedding; from the get-go, she was organized, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She helped us find our caterer (who was excellent) and organized our tasting and our rentals with them -- it was a huge load off of our minds to have her help take care of that vendor. Once we got closer to the actual day, Raquel was on top of everything. She set up a walk through of the venue, kept us on track with all of the nitty-gritty details, and had recommendations for any vendor we could have imagined (truly above and beyond what we could have expected). The day itself went off without a hitch -- we had been so stressed in the days leading up to the wedding with last-minute changes and cancellations from guests, but once the wedding day started everything was smooth sailing. We had some last-minute requests due to guest changes and Raquel didn't miss a beat! We truly felt we could relax and just enjoy our wedding because every last detail had been meticulously planned and attended to. I would recommend Raquel and her team for anyone planning a wedding -- worth every penny!!!

When we found the wedding venue of our dreams, we were surprised that they required a wedding planner, which we did not think was necessary. But oh boy, were we wrong! Once our wedding planner Lee was on board we came to appreciate the hundreds of details required for a successful wedding, which was customized to our vision. Lee executed an organized timeline, including routine meetings, helping identify vendors and day of coordination just to name a few. DM Events planned our 200-person black tie wedding at Brooklyn Botanic Garden this fall. From the moment I first spoke to Dawn Goldsmith, I felt at ease. She is a true visionary and a powerhouse. Dawn kept not just me, but my husband, our families and our budget(!!), on track from our very first phone call to the end of the wedding night. Putting aside all of the variable twists and turns that came with the era of COVID-weddings (which were navigated with ease), Dawn designed and planned an absolutely picture perfect event that exceeded all expectations. She has impeccable taste and a way of articulating and evolving my vision better than I could. Her design-minded approach is something that was really important to me when selecting a planner – no detail too small! Regarding the day of, Dawn’s team is a well-oiled machine. If there were any hiccups (there weren’t), neither I nor my guests would have been any the wiser. It was smooth sailing. I was a very type A bride, that consistently sent Jade thousands of questions; she always answered extremely promptly, professionally, and answered every single question I had! Jade is amazing for more relaxed brides too - she organizes and asks you all the questions needed to make sure your big day is perfect. There wasn’t anything I could think of she hadn’t already thought of! The day of the event, Jade was truly amazing. She constantly checked in on us, my bridal party, my parents. Literally any issues that came up on the day, she made sure were taken care of before I was even aware there was a problem!! On our rehearsal day she told all of our wedding party they weren’t allowed to come to the bride and groom with any questions - only her. She truly did absolutely everything and went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing, perfect, stress free day. She set everything up PERFECTLY - it was better than I could’ve imagined it. Jade is just the sweetest, most professional coordinator, you will not be disappointed!!! I’ve been in a few weddings this past year, I’ve seen other coordinators in action as well, but none of them were as gifted, professional, and sweet as Jade. She is amazing!! And she’s so experienced, you truly don’t have to give her much instruction. SHE KNOWS WHAT TO DO!! A must have for your wedding, TRUST ME!! I cannot overstate how amazing she was, and that it is because of her that this was the best weekend of our lives. She is not just warm, personable, funny, and easygoing. She is confident, experienced, and completely on top of every single detail you can think of - as well as the ones you can’t. She had one primary goal - pulling off a flawless event - and she delivered. She was extremely easy to work with, and was a phenomenal team player, coordinating everything with us, the venue, our vendors, and even making sure our friends and family were tended to. She and her assistant helped with setting up/decorating different elements of the venue, and so much more, always with great vibes and a smile on her face. In fact, she came up with some of the most memorable design and decorative ideas. She is extremely creative and artistic, and has a very keen eye for detail. For many people, wedding planning can be stressful. She made the process fun and exponentially easier. I cannot imagine how things would have gone without her. Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!

It was a pretty stressful morning but Ashley kept us calm and ensured that our wedding moved forward as planned. We had such a fun night despite the crazy weather and were able to enjoy our evening without worrying about the little details. We cannot recommend Starling enough!!

She took over setup of my DIY photo booth and this balcony space I just didn't know what to do with. Kris made that space and photo booth such an oasis, just what I wanted! Her inventory of props and creative experience created such a fun glow-up and relieved such a big burden from my shoulders. Kris is organized, communicative and just so much fun to talk to. She took charge of my vendors and communicated with my venue seamlessly. She worked hand-in-hand with the venue coordinator on such short notice and I really, really can't thank her enough.
