I'm Karen, a wedding and portrait photographer based in New York City but can travel anywhere! I found my passion for art while growing up surrounded by horses in a small town in Brazil. The shapes, textures, and colors of the horses always have been inspiring to me. I would create imaginary cameras out of my toys and would ‘photograph’ the horses and my neighbors. I’m Sabrina, an Austrian-South African photographer living in New York City. I shoot weddings, elopements and engagements — and as an avid traveler, I absolutely love shooting destinations. Raised between South Africa, Austria and Luxembourg, I spent long periods of my youth traveling the world with my mother. I grew up surrounded by the arts and chose photography as my primary creative outlet. I practice photography professionally , as well as continue to document the many people and places from my travels. I love to capture moments and tell stories in a captivating , creative and organic way.

I grew up in Texas and married a beautiful brown-eyed Jersey girl on a mountaintop in the Hudson Valley. I have the greatest job in the world. I’m lucky enough to witness tears of joy, celebrations of life and the continuation of family legacies on a weekly basis. I put everything I have into my photos, and I’m humbled and inspired by couples who trust me to tell their story.
