Cakes was born in 2021. It was only fitting that I come full circle and work back in the wedding industry where my heart truly lies. When I was a young teenager filming my buddies’ skateboarding tricks, I never imagined it was something that could turn into a career. But that is what happened! The more I filmed, the more I edited, the better I became at my craft. I realized that I had a lot more to offer in a creative sense, and I felt compelled to bring that side of me into my work. I began to expand my services to weddings, events, and businesses in other industries, which allowed me to enhance my films with lively story-telling.

Alwun House is a nonprofit arts organization set in an historic 1912 house in downtown Phoenix. The historic house is wrapped with patio gardens. Rental would include use of our tables and chairs, food tent and separate bar service area, stage, dressing room and both garden patios. There are multiple areas to stage the ceremony, even the front yard lawn has been used for the ceremony. You would have access the entire day (9am to midnight) allowing you time to start setup in morning, decorate per your desires then host the ceremony/reception in afternoon/evening. We do permit self catering. It's pack-it-in and pack-it-out in the one day.
