Coleman and I first met at his 8th-grade graduation party. He put his arm around me and said, “I feel like I know you from somewhere” (smooth). Well, I was sold and smitten. We started dating in the summer of 2015 and were practically inseparable—it was probably for the best that we always went to different schools. :) We went our separate ways in college—him a Ramblin’ Wreck and me a Bruin—but we never fully lost touch. We grew up on our own and gravitated back to each other toward the end of senior year. Coleman flew out to UCLA for my senior spring formal and graduation, and ever since then, we have been closer than ever. Over the past two years, Coleman and I have grown so much together. On August 3, 2025, he left me a letter trail filled with activities and messages from our loved ones. My second-to-last destination landed me at Mount Paran Church for the proposal of my dreams, and we ended the night at Mac’s Chophouse, where he surprised me with so many of our friends and family. I love you so much, CB, and I cannot wait for our future together.
