Our story began sophomore year at Ole Miss, when Peyton came up to say hello to Rivers at a date party. He made quite the first impression—Rivers immediately asked her friends to tell her more about him. It didn’t take long for us to get to know each other, and by the end of sophomore year, we were spending more and more time together. On September 10, 2021, Peyton took Rivers on our first official date on the Oxford Square and asked her to be his girlfriend. The next two years were filled with Ole Miss games, trips with friends and family, and countless memories. In 2023, we graduated together from Ole Miss and moved to Charlotte, where we began building our life together. One of the most special parts of that chapter was welcoming our first puppy, Rowan, who will always hold a place in our hearts. These days, we love traveling, hosting friends and family, taking walks, and making our way back to Oxford for football games every chance we get. Five years after that first date, Peyton planned a trip to Key West for our anniversary weekend. There, he asked Rivers to marry him, making a weekend that already meant so much to us even more special. From Oxford to Charlotte, and through everything in between, we’ve loved building this life together. We can’t wait to see what comes next—and to celebrate with the people who have been part of it along the way.
