Perry and Stephanie met through mutual friends, Beth and TJ. TJ and Perry went to high school together and Stephanie met Beth and TJ playing kickball.

The Proposal

"I already knew"

Perry and Stephanie had a camping trip with friends planned at Lakes Basin California. Once dinner was finished Perry asked Stephanie to take a walk with him to a small lake he found for some sunset pictures. Once at the lake he set his camera up for a self-timed photo, only once the photo was taken Perry got down on one knee and proposed. Stephanie didn't allow for much time or thought before she responded with a tearful yes. When Perry commented on her quick response time in giving an answer Stephanie replied, "I already knew!"

Fun Facts

Perry and Stephanie both have a love of unique and vintage things and enjoy projects where they restore or repurpose things from the past. Perry and Stephanie both play on an adult kickball team. Kickball actually played a role in how they met. Perry and Stephanie both enjoy many activities in the outdoors including hiking, camping, biking, swimming and taking morning walks with their rescue dog Sadie. Stephanie actually attended Perry's 8th grade graduation. Stephanie and Perry were recently certified in SCUBA and are excited to explore the underwater world together.
