While Dana was in San Diego for a dance performance, she and her friend Nikki decided to enjoy a singing bowl meditation put on by a couple who dedicate their lives to philanthropy and meditation. Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, flutes, sitars, gongs. It's magical. • When Jeff and Dana slowly emerged from the meditation, they caught each others' eyes. Truly a "love at first sight." Being his birthday, Jeff had some extra b-day swag and decided to ask Nikki + Dana to join him and his friend Sean out for some sushi, drinks, and of course, some acro-yoga to end the night.

They enjoyed a month of friendship before Dana returned to Philadelphia. They remained friends checking-in with each other here and there via email and phone calls for over two years (yes two years!) until one night, Dana had a dream about Jeff. She decided to call him the next day to catch up as they would. When they connected on the phone, Jeff shared that he had just been meditating in the woods (y'all know we're yoga hippies, right?) and also had this overwhelming feeling for us to connect as well. Crazy! • It was a sign. Dana packed her car and drove across the country to meet up with Jeff, her soulmate. Shortly after they decided to travel to Southeast Asia together for over a year and afterwards settled in sunny San Diego for Jeff to go back to school and for Dana to pursue her dream of being an entrepreneur. They have been crazy about each other ever since.
