Morgan & Corey met working at Forest2Market in Ballantyne. Morgan works in marketing at one end of the office and Corey is a programmer on the opposite side. At first they didn't interact much at work but bonded over Bourbon Fridays in Morgan's bosses office and a few company outings. Morgan moved from Dilworth into the Ballantyne area and asked Corey what the best dog friendly places in the area were. Corey drove Morgan home from a work dinner and then Morgan asked him to hangout that weekend. Morgan and Corey started spending more and more time together. Soon Morgan and Shadow started spending more time at Corey and Cody's apartment, in part due to Shadow and Jax getting along so well, until they started slowly bringing more of their stuff over until they had basically moved in. Early 2020 Corey and Morgan decided to buy their first home and closed on their house in February 2020 right before the world shut down. Shadow loved Morgan and Corey being home all the time in her new house during lockdown. Corey and Morgan decided marriage is the next step and Corey is not big on surprises so they designed the engagement ring together with Morrison Smith. The Proposal: Morgan knew that Corey had picked up the ring from the jewelers but wasn't sure when the proposal was going to happen... Until Corey hinted it would be happening when they visited Corey's parents at Glacier National Park in Montana. James and Susan took everyone on a beautiful hike in Glacier National Park and since the water levels were low there was a lot of rock beds to walk on. They were walking along the rock beds by the Sacred Dancing Cascade Waterfall where there wasn't as many people around. Corey had his arm around Morgan and they were taking in the beautiful view and then Corey got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him and it was the easiest question she's ever answered! They can't wait to continue their adventure of life together!
