Our story started long before our first date. Ryan and Megan first met in 5th grade at Prado View Elementary. From recess and 6th grade classes to middle school and high school, they spent much of their childhood growing up alongside one another. They were always friends, always enjoyed each other's company, and somehow always found their way back to each other. Like any good slow-burn story, the timing wasn't always right. There were years when Ryan liked Megan, years when Megan liked Ryan, until everything finally aligned during their senior year of high school. After Megan asked Ryan to Sadie Hawkins in 2014, the rest was history. Over the last decade, they've experienced every season of life together—from college and starting their careers to building a home with their cat, Ziggy. Along the way, they've grown not only as a couple but as individuals, always encouraging each other to become the best versions of themselves. Their relationship has always been grounded in friendship, communication, and the shared belief that anything worth having is worth working through together. In November 2025, Ryan proposed at Yorba Regional Park, marking the beginning of their next chapter. Looking back, it's funny to think their story began on an elementary school playground. What started as childhood friendship became the foundation for a lifetime together, and they can't wait to see what the next chapter holds.
