Megan and Austin first crossed paths in 2019 thanks to a web of mutual friends (credit to Rinat & Zach, and Graham!) Between pregames at the guys’ East Village apartment and city nights out, they knew of each other but the real spark happened on May 18 at a Yankees game. Megan was secretly hoping Austin would be there, and sure enough, he was. After a little small talk, a lot of cheering, and a late-night karaoke session to follow, it quickly became clear that this was the start of something special. Their first date came a few weeks later at a restaurant called Friend of a Farmer, with an apple pie for dessert they still talk about to this day. Almost two months later, Austin asked Megan to be his girlfriend. Over the years, they’ve bonded over a shared love for travel and the city they call home. Whether they are exploring a new country or out on the slopes skiing and snowboarding, they’ve always loved being on the move together. Still, they’re just as happy back home, crossing new restaurants off their growing list and never missing a competitive game night with friends. In April 2022, they adopted their sweet dog, Luna, and moved into their Upper East Side apartment later that summer, where long walks through Central Park quickly became a favorite routine. Together, they’ve built a life full of adventures, cozy nights, and the little everyday moments that make a relationship feel effortless. On September 19, 2024, Austin planned the perfect proposal, asking Megan to marry him along the Hudson River. It was, of course, the easiest yes. Exactly two years later, on September 19, 2026, they’ll be saying “I do” and can’t wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people.
