Our story started at WVU (cue Country Roads). We met through mutual friends, but didn't actually start dating until after a weekend in Washington, D.C in 2019. Over the last seven years, we've made so many memories together. Now we can't wait to celebrate the biggest chapter yet. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere other than Marco Island. It's been a second home, filled with birthdays, holidays, beach days, and so many great memories. We can't wait to celebrate here with the people who mean the most to us.
We had plans to go to the Steelers vs. Ravens game on January 4, and before heading to the tailgate, Matt suggested grabbing a drink. It sounded like a normal stop before the game, so I didn't think anything of it. On the way, he made one "quick stop" at the Mount Washington overlook. When we got there, I was completely surprised to find a beautiful setup. Then we celebrated with drinks and appetizers at Monterey Bay before heading to the tailgate, where all of our family and friends were waiting to surprise us. To top it all off, the Steelers beat the Ravens and officially clinched a playoff spot. We ended the night with a few hands of blackjack at Rivers Casino. It was a night we will never forget.
