We're married! We had a private ceremony on the shore of Lake Michigan: just the two of us and a lovely photographer (so don't worry, there is plenty of photographic evidence for us to share!). From the moment we decided we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives, most of our time, energy, and finances have been going toward ensuring we can start our lives together in the same home. Now that we're get married, KT is starting the lengthy bureaucratic monster-of-a-task of immigrating to Canada. In that time, despite finally getting to call each other our wife, we will have to continue living apart while waiting for the paperwork to be approved. As such, we decided a smaller (very small even!) wedding would be better for us, though we plan to have a marriage celebration further down the road so that we can celebrate with our loved ones once we are living under the same roof. We're so excited for our future together so we want to share as much as we can with all of you even if we weren't able to invite you to join us on the day itself.
