Chapter 1 Fred and Karynne first crossed paths in the hallways of Farquhar Middle School in Olney, MD, back in September 2007. He was 12, she was 11, and they passed each other in the 8th-grade corridors on their way to class. From those early days, they formed a connection that would span years — even as life took them in different directions, they always found their way back to each other. Chapter 2 A few years later, during high school, Karynne decided to shoot her shot and sent Fred a voice note on Voxer (if you know, you know). That one message turned into daily conversations, and before long, Fred asked her to be his girlfriend — on Valentine’s Day 2012. Though they attended different high schools, they made the most of afternoons and weekends together. Karynne even got in trouble once or twice for being out with Fred when she *may* have told her parents she was “just meeting friends.” They shared everything — including prom nights — over two high school sweetheart years. And once again, they parted ways, unsure of what the future would bring. Chapter 3 After a few more years apart — exploring new cities, schools, and relationships — they found their way back to each other in 2017, back home in the DMV. They reunited, moved in together soon after, and never looked back. In their first decade together (give or take), they’ve built a life full of adventure and growth. They've moved homes and cities — from Rockville to Downtown Silver Spring, from Mattaponi to Richmond, and now, to New York. They've traveled the world, built a family, and became parents together. They don’t know what the next chapter holds, but they do know one thing for sure: they’ll face it side by side. F&K Forever.
