The Celebration is on!

With about 6 weeks to go until wedding day, as other people rushed to get toilet paper, we had concerns of our own. "Should we see what options we have if this COVID thing lasts through April? I mean, just on the off chance." Oh how naive we all were back then. Very quickly our "just checking" became "it's illegal to host a 200 person gathering of people from across the country and world dancing and hugging each other." Like many, COVID put a halt on our plans. What was meant to be a day of celebration with all of you, turned into a romantic picnic-for-two at our venue at sunset (check out that sweet view in the picture we planned for you!) So we're moving on. Instead of the big San Francisco celebration weekend, we're getting cozy with a family wedding in Cleveland. On trend with just about everything these days, we'll host the wedding live on zoom because we really want you all to still be a part of it. When we can all be together again, we're looking forward to a huge party with hugs, hora and handshakes. Thank goodness we already did the honeymoon in New Zealand!

In October 2017, Gayle and Ben swiped right on each other on JSwipe. On the first date they knew this was something special, so they made plans to meet up the following week. Apparently, that wasn’t soon enough. That Friday, Ben took a Lyft line (the carpool option) and GAYLE WAS ADDED TO THE SAME CAR! Neither of us could believe it when Gayle opened the door and got in. It was truly meant to be.

On the first day of our RV Road Trip up the coast of California and Oregon we stopped at the Avenue of the Giants. It was here, in the middle of the giant California redwood trees that Ben proposed, and Gayle said YES! Did you know? We went against tradition and decided to have our honeymoon before the wedding. A three week campervan trip through New Zealand at the end of January was an amazing time, we are so lucky to have done it before the lockdowns. One lesson we've learned - don't wait to do what you want!
