We first met through our mutual friends (Finn and Melody) at a popular rustic-industrial restaurant called Rontoms in 2019. I was under the impression the meetup was to befriend a sweet young man who had just moved to Portland, Oregon from Michigan. Little did we know, they were about to introduce us to our lifelong partner and soulmate!

We decided to have a staycation in downtown Portland to celebrate New Year's Eve and we had dinner reservations at one of my favorite restaurants, El Gaucho. We were ushered over to our table where there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. After we sat down at the table, Tony grabbed my hand, and we began to reminisce about our incredible journey together. Then he slowly walked over and went down on one knee and proposed!
