Do I have to wear a gi?

Answer

No. A lot of our close friends are BJJ players. We wanted to do something a bit different, and Gi's seemed a lot different. Please feel free to dress comfortably and don't spend the money on a Gi for just this event.

Is this an Open Mat for everyone?

Answer

We may or may not be rolling.......okay we probably will, however this event will be for invited guests only. I am sure there will be an open mat on Friday.

Is this a real wedding?

Answer

We have both been asked this numerous times. Yes, this is the real deal. We are in love, love our friends, and love our time in the gym. We have a real officiant and man of God, Blake Godbee, and he is also one of my brown belts and has been training for about 12 years. I think he is just as excited about this as we are.

What about a registry for gifts or cash donations?

Answer

We really want you to just come and enjoy the night with us. Gifts and cash are not requested, required, or wanted. Please just come and have a good time with us.
