As many have experienced before us, we met by fate. Karen and I both have a passion for learning. In the fall of 2013 both Karen and I were on a mission to become more than we were. I was sold on the idea of forming an insurance company and by chance Karen enrolled in the same class I did. She and I didn't speak much but I noticed her right away. She stood out to me. Her smile and her charm was stunning. I knew I had to meet her. I learned quickly by observation that she was SUPER intelligent. The questions she would ask and feedback she gave the instructor really got me going. The week before class ended I decided to ask her if she would study with me. She agreed and we begun a study group. Just the two of us. We studied several days before the exam and even pulled an all night cram session the night before we took our state exam. In December 2013 both Karen and I became licensed insurance agents. One thing to note is that she achieved a higher score than me, which I expected. That week of studying we shared a lot together. Not so much about each other but I believe we saw more for each other than just studying. Although I wanted to pursue more with her I had a lot of work on my plate. We took the next few months to get to know each other. We fell in love with other. It really business before pleasure!
