Planning a wedding during a global pandemic is challenging, to say the least. We would love to have all of our friends and family with us in person to celebrate. However, the health and safety of our loved ones is of the utmost importance. We have several family members who are considered high risk for adverse outcomes of COVID-19 and as such we will be taking the highest level of precaution and measures to prevent the spread of disease throughout our wedding activities. We are closely following all of the scientific information and recommendations related to COVID-19, including from the CDC, the WHO and the PA Department of Health. As levels of transmission change, so may our wedding plans. We will work hard to ensure our guests are updated with changing information as timely as possible. We hope that you will be understanding of last minute changes and that we will all be able to celebrate in person.

Christa and Dan first connected through a dating app. They matched based on love for music and travel, and after a few weeks exchanging emails their first date was at Mad Mex. Although this is one of Dan's all time favorites, they picked the location because it was across town - neutral territory. The weather was nice that July evening, but Dan forgot his phone! Christa thought she was being stood up on her first blind date, so she decided to have one drink before leaving. As luck would have it, the only open seat at the bar was next to Dan! Conversation was great that night and ongoing since.

Christa and Dan got engaged while on vacation in Avalon, NJ in July 2020 - almost 7 years to the day from their first date. The setting was a picturesque beach sunset and he popped the question while they enjoyed a wine and cheese picnic. Christa said yes and they talked and kissed under the stars until police cleared the beach for the night. But the celebrations continued when they got back to the house where Dan’s mom, sister, and brother were waiting with sparklers, champagne and cake!
