Double Decker is an Oxford rite of passage and it comes every spring, on the last full weekend in April. Vendors line the historic Square with tents packed with all kinds of artsy goodies, and live music is performed Friday and Saturday nights. Don't miss this, but be aware crowds will be large, roads will be blocked until early Sunday morning, and hotel rates will be high. Plan accordingly!
Don't miss your chance to cheer on the Rebs as they take on Georgia at home. Tickets can be purchased in the grandstand (bring yourself!) or in Left or Right fields (bring a chair! coolers and beverages welcome, but no glass allowed). Hotty Toddy, don't let the Rebs get hot!
See William Faulkner's home - you can drive here or park at the University Museum and take a walk through Bailey's Woods.
Stay awhile. Buy something. Support a local and a legend!
Seth's favorite flavor is Cosmic Brownie. Dallas's favorites are Blueberry Sweet Corn, Sweet Tea Pound Cake and anything guaranteed to make Seth make a funny face when she orders it.
Our date night go-to. Seth recommends the "Philly, Mississippi." Dallas recommends the shrimp & grits and several pickle martinis.
