Some would call our story a crazy coincidence but we consider our story divine providence. Two people from different origins, Katherine, a southern belle from small town Mississippi and Caleb, a city guy from West Baltimore get introduced by a mutual friend Jailyn, who couldn’t be more different than both of them. It all starts when Caleb somehow ends up in a clubhouse chatroom during Covid with Jailyn, who just so happens to be Katherine's line sister. After countless random conversations in a group chat, Jailyn comes to the conclusion that Caleb and Katherine would be great together. The only problem is at the time Caleb was living in Cleveland and Katherine was in Arlington... with a boyfriend. But God got involved in Jailyn’s scheme and somehow Caleb would end up with a job that temporarily had him in Arlington for 6 months. After a ploy by Jailyn to force an encounter the two would just remain friends for the next couple years on Instagram with nothing more than a liked picture and a DM here and there, until New York. One day, Katherine is sitting in the parking lot of LA Fitness looking for some motivation to go inside the gym and actually workout. Rather than harassing her friends or just walking in, she called Caleb. Caleb had been on his fitness journey and she woke up to a ping that he's worked out every day so she knows he'll tell her what she needs to hear. That conversation lead to inquiries about her birthday plans, which included a trip to NYC with her closest friends, and Caleb decided he would invite himself and tag along, because why not? That trip was the real beginning of a friendship that both of them felt like they were trying to force before. That friendship blossomed into a relationship that grew both of them insurmountably. Today we're preparing for a new season as one rather than individuals. We're grateful for all of the paths that led us to one another and blessed to step into forever with God's covering.
